As a Metis artist today,I embrace the vision of cultural unity amongst Canadians of First Nations and European heritage in equality and identity.Growing up learning the visual languages of the Great Northwest coast arts and later the Plains and European ones of my ancestry,I try to bring together seemingly disparate elements coherently and reverently.
