Paula Scott Beltgens is a Nanaimo-based jewellery maker and sculptor who employs a variety of media, including precious and base metals, textiles, found and repurposed objects, and different kinds of clays. Her metal clay pieces are etched and hand constructed, sanded, shaped and then fired in a kiln at high temperatures. Pieces are refined and further shaped after firing.
