Barb Springer-Sapergia, Ladysmith

Barb works in her studio in Ladysmith, BC. After working in clay since 1977, she is now following her passion for watercolour painting. Barb is still a very active partner in The Pottery Store in Chemainus, just not with pots! Visit the store site at www.gobc.ca/potterystore

Barb's paintings are usually very colourful and often depict West Coast images like the 'Marina' shown here.

This abstract 'Cityscape' was inspired by a visit to Pusan, South Korea

'McLeod Gange India' was from a photo taken by Barb's son Adrien when he was living in India.

Barb is fascinated by rock formations and the interesting light and shadow patterns created at different times of the day. 'Riverbed' is part of Barb's private collection.
