The intention of this work is to connect the microcosm and the macrocosm. Whether depicting satellite imagery, primal plant species or Buddhist cosmology. My focus continues to be mapping the natural patterns of growth and decay.
A background in printmaking has enabled me to develop a number of unique techniques which incorporate the crushing, layering, and printing of found and weathered materials. These techniques combined with gestural calligraphic marks create contemporary mixed-media collages that invite contemplation and interpretation.
