This area was identified for protection in the Clayoquot Sound Land-Use Decision.
There are high recreational values associated with Fortune Channel, one of the area’s tourism corridors. Boating is popular in this area.
The park is situated at the south end of Fortune Channel between Meares Island and the west coast of Vancouver Island. Dawley Passage Park is accessible by boat.

Park Size: 154 ha (62 ha upland 92 ha foreshore)
