Wasa Lake

Located 35 km northwest of Kimberley, Wasa Lake Provincial Park has been a well-established favourite family retreat since 1955 with recreational access to the warmest lake of the Kootenays. Campsite reservations are accepted. It protects sweeping bunchgrass meadows and temperate grasslands. As one of the world's most threatened ecosystem types it is a habitat for a wide diversity of birds and plants.
