Craigdarroch Castle
Craigdarroch Castle was built in the 1890's by wealthy coal baron Robert Dunsmuir. Furnished lavishly in Victorian era splendor, view exquisite stained glass, intricate woodwork and the life and times of the very rich at the turn of the century. Climb 87 stairs and five floors to the Tower for a breathtaking view of Victoria, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the majestic Olympic mountains. Hours: June 15-Labour Day open 9AM to 7PM daily, Labour Day to June 14, 10AM to 4:30 PM daily.
