Gonzales Hill

Located on Denison Road in Victoria/Oak Bay this small park lets you enjoy the views from a protected natural landscape in the heart of the city. Its features include: unparalleled views of Victoria, Juan de Fuca Strait, the Olympic mountains and the Sooke Hills, a habitat for California quail, rare wildflowers and a stand of Garry oak trees. Gonzales Observatory, a weather station for 75 years, is now a heritage building.
