Since it began in the 1970’s Logan Lake, has been active copper mining town. Logan Lake opens its arms to visitors who take pleasure in the wilderness and is a popular outback destination. A part of the Highland Valley, 60 kilometers southwest of Kamloops, there are dozens of parks, trails and back roads to give visitors and local residents access to remote wilderness locations primed for adventure and true outdoor enjoyment. The unique sport of clay pigeon shooting for those interested in a less violent form of hunting.
