By definition, a ‘lodge’ is a wooden structure, constructed from large timbers in a post-and-beam style, offering accommodations. While not all lodges in British Columbia will follow this architectural model, they will have a rustic feel with comfortable rooms, and are set in more remote and isolated areas.
